Investment strategy

·       Ledstiernan’s strategy is to invest in growth companies with the potential to become market leaders. An important criterion is that Ledstiernan can add value to the portfolio company and that there is a clear potential to realize an increase in value. 

·       Ledstiernan has strong shareholder positions in the portfolio companies and shall contribute to their development through active and professional ownership. 

·       Ledstiernan continually examines the possibility to make add-on acquisitions in the portfolio companies to attain a faster and more cost efficient development to a market-leading position.  

·       When Ledstiernan deems that the greater part of a portfolio company’s potential value can be realized, a divestment shall be made. This is primarily done through an industrial sale.

·       Ledstiernan is prepared to take an active role in the consolidation within the private equity industry.
